Based on the River Feale, Listowel, North Kerry; Halpin's has a full range of fishing equipment, such as hooks, lines, rods, reels, leads, scales, sea fishing rigs, fly and bait boxes.

We can arrange all fishing licenses, supply lures and flies specific to all western locality.

Sea angling trips are also arranged with frozen and fresh bait available plus tackle for hire and purchase.

We are enthusiastic fishermen and can help with great local knowledge of the area.

We also stock fly tying materials such as furs, vices, varnishes, hooks, feathers and tinsels.

THE HALPIN FLY

Proprieter Jim Halpin's father, John Joe, was recognised in his day as a true craftsman. His award winning fly patterns were sought after for both their beauty and their effectiveness. John Joe's patterns appear in the definitive 1964 Veniard's "Further guide to Fly Dressing". Today Jim Halpin carries on his family tradition stocking both traditional and modern patterns as well of course as the original "Haplin Fly".

Halpins can provide tips and advice on local fishing and shooting and are always glad to share their local knowledge with visitors to the Listowel and South West region.
